Drivers Accidentally Pressing Push-Start Ignition Button
The Lincoln MKC recall was announced by Ford on January 6, after reports indicated that drivers were accidentally touching the push-start ignition button while the vehicles were moving, causing the ignition to shut off and bringing the vehicle to a sudden stop comparable to slamming on the brakes.
