According to reports, the transvaginal mesh settlement calls for Coloplast to pay about $16 million to resolve approximately 400 complaints filed by affected women throughout the country. Vaginal Mesh Lawsuits Over Injuries
Coloplast Corp. currently faces at least 1,155 vaginal mesh lawsuits pending in the federal court system, where the cases have been centralized before U.S. District Judge Joseph Goodwin in the Southern District of West Virginia as part of a multidistrict litigation (MDL).
